2012 Exploration Survey

The Nevada Bureau of Mines and Geology is conducting a survey for the Nevada Division of Minerals that is aimed at gauging exploration activity in Nevada. The role that exploration plays in Nevada’s mineral industry and overall economy is not well understood by Nevada’s legislators and citizens. We encourage any individual or company who did exploration (minerals, geothermal, and petroleum) in Nevada in 2011 to fill out the survey by July 15, 2012. The survey will help quantify the impact of exploration on the economy and jobs in Nevada; individual responses are confidential. Information on how to return the survey is included.
