Normal hours resume July 2, 2012 – open again on Mondays!

We are pleased to announce that the NBMG Publication Sales and Information Office (Great Basin Science Sample and Records Library) will resume full-time hours starting July 2 (Monday–Friday 8:00 to 4:00, cash register closes at 3:30). We thank you for your patience during our period of reduced hours. The reduced hours were needed to complete a new shopping cart and publications database (coming soon) and to continue the electronic conversion of our information for posting online while we still had full state funding. We thank the Nevada Division of Minerals, which promotes accumulating geologic knowledge for better understanding natural resources in the state, for partially supporting this office with some vital bridging funds in the coming fiscal year. These funds allow NBMG to remain open to the public full time in the coming fiscal year while also adding more information and geologic samples and to make that content available to the public, both at the Great Basin Science Sample and Records Library and on the Web.

Our office will be closed for the July 4 holiday.
