I-395 access to GBSSRL restored – July 1
The access to GBSSRL from I-395 has been restored, and now phase 2 of construction has begun. Please read details below from the TMCC website:
“Beginning July 1, access to the Dandini Campus from US 395 will be restored. Motorists who wish to park on the south side of campus will need to follow detour signs and use the Raggio Parkway entrance on the west side of campus. For a map of the construction and the latest information on the Raggio Parkway/Dandini Boulevard construction, bookmark our road construction site at roadwork.tmcc.edu and check frequently for updates.” (TMCC website, posted 6-25-13)
“The TMCC road construction is on schedule to have some major changes in July 2013. Phase 1, the first closed section of Dandini Boulevard and Raggio Parkway, is planned to reopen to traffic on Monday, July 1.
During Phase 2, also starting on July 1, the remaining section of Raggio Pkwy. (as marked in blue on the map) will be closed to traffic. Detour signs will be in place to assist motorists. Campus will be accessible from either 395 or Clear Acre Lane, but in order to get to the south side of campus, you will access Raggio Pkwy. from the newly opened road on the western side of campus. This closure will remain in place until approximately August 2.
The goal of the road work is to make Raggio Parkway the main route to/from all major businesses nearby, including TMCC. You will see a significant difference in the newly opened section of roadway.”
