Geoff Blewitt Elected President of IAG Commission 1: Reference Frames

The National Delegates of the International Association of Geodesy have voted Geoff Blewitt to be President of Commission 1: Reference Frames. This organization defines and redefines longitude, latitude, and height that are of primary importance for much Earth science based research and applications, satellite navigation as well as for practical applications in geo-information.
