Jon Price Elected President of Geological Society of America

Jon Price, NBMG Director/State Geologist Emeritus, will serve as GSA President, July 2015 – June 2016.

Our science is increasingly global as we recognize the challenges of understanding interconnected Earth systems—meeting the rising global demand for mineral and energy resources, handling tradeoffs regarding sustainable development, and reducing risks of natural disasters that impact the global economy.
