BIO: Fred has over thirty years in the O&G, stationed in Austral-Asia, Far East, So. East Asia, Sub Continent, MENA and Europe. His areas of Focus are New Technologies such as SCADA, Well Analysis and Diagnostics, Advanced Lifting Systems, HPHT Drilling, Alternative Tubular Material for Corrosive Environments. Fred previously worked as Far East BD Manager – eProduction Solutions at Weatherford – Jakarta, Indonesia, Regional Vice President at Downhole Video International –Singapore, Cased Hole Manager Asia Pacific at Expro-Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Global Sales Manager at Drill Cool Systems, Inc. – California, USA. Akiet is a young and innovative enterprise, which specializes in the development, production and installation of innovative High Strength Composite Tubular (HSCT) systems to be used in the production of oil & gas, salt and geothermal energy. In a world where steel is the norm (and customers have come to accept its shortcomings) Akiet brings composite tubulars that are strong enough for the toughest down-hole application. Light, non-corrosive and versatile. True innovation that brings new opportunities to our customers. Akiet composite pipe systems extend the operational life of drilling wells and improve the effectiveness of enhanced recovery programs by gas injection, CO2 and water injection. It allows a longer horizontal step out from the surface location and the special use of logging techniques to monitor enhanced oil and gas recovery. This leads to greater output and a smaller surface footprint of geothermal drilling operation for instance. The customer savings achievable and satisfaction are far higher than the nominally additional expense of Akiet’s Innovative Composite Systems. Specialties: Composite Tubulars for down-hole applications, High Strength Composite Casings, High Strength Composite Tubing, High Strength Composite Liners.
